Black Adam movie producer Hiram Garcia revealed that a Kingdom Come movie has been discussed.

Based on the comic-based characters, DC is planning to release four new highly anticipated movies. Among these one of the highly anticipated movies is Black Adam in which the star Dwayne Johnson plays the titular character. The first footage of Black Adam which was released at DCFandome during October itself creates an anticipating element between the spectaculars.

As the first footage looks to bring a massive change to the franchise, Dwayne Johnson and his company look forward to expanding their collaboration with DC.
With that, the president of Seven Bucks Production Hiram Garcia revealed that they are planning to discuss the adaptation of the DC Comic book series: Kingdom Come.

‘Kingdome Come’ was a four issue DC Comic mini series which published during 1996. This was written by Mark Waid and Alex Ross which focussed focused on a conflict between Batman and his assembled team against Lex Luthor in an attempt to thwart a super-human war that could end the world.

Here is what Hiram Garcia reveals to Collider regarding their ‘dream project’ on Kingdome Come:

"

Look, I think the dream project that’s something we’ve always spoken about at Seven Bucks, we would love to make someday, which is a tougher ambition due to, obviously, IP and rules and so forth, but always been obsessed with Kingdom Come, the Mark Waid/Alex Ross joint that those guys did. I think that storyline was always so compelling. We’ve always envisioned it as kind of an epic, multi-film saga. I think that’s something we’ve always dreamed of being able to do. If there was ever a dream project, and not trying to start a fire where it’s like we’re gunning after that, because it’s just pie in the sky, you’d love to be able to tell the story, and I always admired that story of the juxtaposition of old-school heroes versus new-school heroes and how they clash and a world so divided in terms of how they view what is justice now and what was it and what should it be. It’s always just always something very compelling in the big, cataclysmic mash-up of old versus new. That’s something that, look, in a perfect world, we could do it, would love to do it.

"

Definitely this would be interesting to bring a comic story to a life story on big screen with DC. Lets wait forth toward this dream project and hope it could meets the anticipation level.

Black Adam is expected to release in theatres by July 29, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest updates on all of DC’s upcoming projects. You can also subscribe to DC Updates’ YouTube channel for more video content in the future!
