Brendan Fraser is set to join DC’s HBO Max movie Batgirl starring Leslie Grace according to Deadline.
Brendan Fraser, the star of “The Mummy” franchise, is set to join the DC’s HBO Max movie Batgirl as the Villain. Fraser will be taking the role of the villainous sociopath with a passion for pyrotechnics, the Firefly.
Recently one of the directors of the movie, posted an image of completed script on his Instagram story. The movie is now in post production and is expected to start filming soon by the end of this year. This will be the first live-action movie to present Barbara Gordon in lead. Previous update we got from the movie was regarding J. K Simmons’s return as Commissioner Gordon. It is really disappointing that this movie is being made exclusively for HBO Max will not get a. big screen release.
