Warner Bros. Japan and Wit Studio have revealed a new look for the Joker in the upcoming anime series Suicide Squad Isekai. Revolving around the Suicide Squad, just like the title suggests, the show features the dynamic duo, Harley Quinn and Joker.
The new look for the Joker is a departure from previous iterations of the character. He has a more disheveled appearance, with wild hair and less pronounced scars.
Despite the changes, the new Joker still retains some of his signature features, such as his red lips and the smile that never seems to leave his face. He also appears to be just as unhinged and dangerous as ever.
The reveal of the new Joker has been met with mixed reactions from fans. Some have praised the new look, calling it an refreshing change from the more traditional versions of the character. Others have criticized the look, saying that it is too different from the Joker that they know and love.
Suicide Squad: ISEKAI will be directed by Eri Osada, written by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara, with character designs for the series by Akira Amano and Naoto Hosoda.
Only time will tell how fans will react to the new Joker when Suicide Squad Isekai premieres. However, one thing is for sure: the new look is sure to be a talking point among fans for years to come.
