DCU Announced Its First Chapter And Titles!

The First Wave of DCU is here!

DC Studios has officially announced its first wave of projects, with ten film and television projects currently in pre-production. James Gunn and Peter Safran unveiled the list of projects during a presentation at the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, California.

The projects include:

Creature Commandos (animated series)
Waller (live-action series)
Superman: Legacy (live-action film)
Lanterns (live-action series)
The Authority (live-action film)
Paradise Lost (live-action series)
The Brave and the Bold (live-action film)
Booster Gold (live-action series)
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (live-action film)
Swamp Thing (live-action film)

The release dates of the next Superman movie and Robert Pattinson’s Batman sequel were also announced, but it was emphasized that the latter was not part of the main DC Universe slate. The first chapter of the DC Universe, “Gods and Monsters,” was also revealed, with creative talent including Drew Goddard, Jeremy Slater, Christina Hodson, Christal Henry, and Tom King.

Fans of the DC Universe may recognize the title “Gods and Monsters” as a subtitle used in an animated Justice League movie directed by Sam Liu. Overall, the announcements by James Gunn and Peter Safran have sparked excitement among fans as they eagerly await the release of these new projects.
