Blue Beetle DC Villain

A new clip from the upcoming DC film Blue Beetle has been released, and it confirms the presence of a major DC Blue Beetle villain: OMAC.

In the clip, Jaime Reyes (Xolo Maridueña) is seen fighting a hulking robotic figure. The Scarab, Jaime’s alien symbiote, warns him that his opponent is an OMAC.

What is OMAC in the DC Universe?

OMACs, or “Observational Metahuman Activity Constructs,” are a group of powerful cyborgs created by the DC Universe’s villainous organization Checkmate. They are incredibly strong and durable, and they are equipped with a variety of weapons and gadgets.

The OMACs have been a major threat to the DC Universe in the past, and they are sure to be a formidable foe for Jaime Reyes in Blue Beetle. The clip also suggests that Carapax, the villain who seemingly dons a red suit of power armor to pursue Jaime, may be related to the OMACs.

The inclusion of OMACs in Blue Beetle is a major development for the film, and it suggests that Jaime Reyes will be facing some serious challenges in his upcoming adventure.

Blue Beetle is scheduled to be released on August 18, 2023. The film is directed by Angel Manuel Soto and stars Xolo Maridueña, Susan Sarandon, George Lopez, and Harvey Guillen.
