Fans of Robert Pattinson’s brooding and intense portrayal of the Dark Knight in The Batman have something new to be excited about. While it’s unclear whether Pattinson will appear in the series as Batman, Bruce Wayne, or both, the news that he may reprise his DC role even sooner than 2025 is an exciting prospect for fans of the franchise.
The Penguin is intended to sit outside of the DCU narrative that James Gunn and Peter Safran are building, but it will directly connect to Matt Reeves’ Batman universe and may even lead into the upcoming sequel, The Batman – Part 2.
