DC’s Stargirl has two seasons out on the CW network, and it seems to not stop anytime soon. The critically acclaimed series is one of the top-rated tv series DC ever had. According to Deadline, Stargirl was The CW’s most-watched summer debut in six years. The renewal of the show had been made slightly easier due to corporate synergies. The pick-up of Stargirl, meanwhile, is part of a deal between The CW and HBO Max to co-finance the show.
In May 2021, the series was renewed for a third season. The official Twitter handle of DC’s Stargirl also confirmed the renewal with a tweet:

Now, The CW has confirmed that the upcoming season of Stargirl is all set to make its debut on August 31, 2022. On July 11, 2022, the news was confirmed by The CW on Twitter, stating, “The JSA is unstoppable Season 3 premieres Wednesday, August 31 on The CW! #DCStargirl!” :
