According to “Big Screen Leaks” the reshoots are planned to take place over the course of few days in order to improve the overall quality of the film.

Ezra Miller, who plays the titular character of Barry Allen/The Flash, is set to return to work for the reshoots. Miller has previously portrayed the character in both the DC Universe’s “Justice League” film and in a cameo appearance in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

These reshoots are not being done to change the ending, but instead just “to touch up some shots” in the film. The project has gone through multiple directors and rewrites, with the most recent director, Andy Muschietti, taking over from Rick Famuyiwa in 2018. Despite these setbacks, Warner Bros. is confident that the reshoots will result in a finished product that will meet fans’ high expectations for the film.

Andy Muschietti is known for directing the horror films It and It Chapter Two. “The Flash” is expected to release worldwide on June 16, 2023. With Ezra Miller returning to the role of Barry Allen, and a talented director at the helm, fans are sure to be in for a thrilling ride when “The Flash” finally hits the big screen.
