When Ezra Miller was cast as the DCEU’s Barry Allen, The Flash movie was originally set to arrive in 2018. After JOSSTICE LEAGUE, The Flash movie had to go through several dramatic changes with several directors and writers boarding and exiting the project over the years.
DCEU’s Barry Allen was introduced to the big screen in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now after 8 years, The Flash movie directed by Andy Muschietti is getting ready for the worldwide release on June 23, 2023.
According to Variety, The Flash has been “extraordinarily well-received” among test audiences and Warner Bros. intends to “give the superhero film the full blockbuster treatment.
