Despite the lead star Ezra Miller being involved in multiple controversies, test screening audiences are loving The Flash movie.

According to an insider ViewerAnon, The Flash movie got “the highest” testing score for “any DCEU film”.  Based on the statement by the insider, the movie has “generated a huge buzz during testing” and the audience were loving the movie despite the lead actor Ezra Miller has been embroiled in many controversies.

Ezra Miller has been involved in many disturbing incidents and arrests since the spring of 2022. This has left many wondering if Warner Bros will eventually scrap the movie. The movie reportedly has a budget of $200 million and features several stars like Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton, and Michael Shannon.

The Flash was originally announced by Warner Bros. featuring Barry Allen aka The Flash in 2014, which was slated to hit theaters in 2018. However, the film got delayed several times since its announcement and went through many directors until Andy Muschietti and Christine Hodson were assigned as the film’s director and screenwriter. The Flash is inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline and feature multiple versions of The Flash and the Batman.

Miller has been  involved in several legal controversies – including felony burglary, according to police in the US state of Vermont. They were also seen housing a mother and her three children at a cannabis farm with loose firearms in June. All these incidents  lead the studio to completely scrap the movie.  The future of the movie is a uncertain.

Warner Bros. Discovery is reportedly considering for 3 options for the movie.

The first option is the best case scenario. It would see Miller seeking professional help. Miller would have to give an interview explaining their behavior and would then do a limited amount of press following the film’s release.

The next case is what could happen if Miller does not seek help. The second option would see Warner Bros. Discovery still choose to release the film, But Miller would not be a key figure in the marketing. Following the film’s release, Miller would not play The Flash in any future projects. Which means, they would be recast going forward.

The third option is apparently the worst case scenario, which is to “scrap the movie completely”. This would reportedly occur if Ezra Miller’s controversies and legal issues get even worse, and make it untenable to release the movie.
