According to the latest article from Geekosity, Warner Bros. Discovery is interested in bringing back Zack Snyder for DC’s Black Label Films.
Geekosity’s author Mikey Sutton wrote:

"
On June 16, 2021, I revealed that Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav had discussions to restore the SnyderVerse. No, these talks were not with Snyder himself. After all, Zaslav hadn’t stepped in the door yet. Rather, these talks were with people Zaslav had sought consultation.
Indeed, sources observed Zaslav is like a sponge. He absorbs ideas and numbers. Simply put, money fuels his interest in Snyder’s work. Make no mistake: Fanboy interests don’t drive Zaslav’s decisions.
"

The article also stated that the previous Warner Bros. regime wanted to end the SnyderVerse. The previous regime included Warner Bros. CEO Ann Sarnoff, Warner Bros Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich, Warner Media CEO Jason Kilar, and DC Films president Walter Hamada. All these big names are fired now except one, Walter Hamada. Hamada has his contract valid till 2023 and is not expected to continue in power after.
A few articles from Variety strongly stated that the team under CEO David Zaslav is working to form a separate division to focus on DC Films and are looking for an advisor to lead the team. Todd Philipps who directed the Joker movie was reportedly contacted for the role of the advisor.
In the current scenario, there are not many obstacles in Zack Snyder’s way to get back to DC. But, will he? Snyder is currently working on multiple movie franchises for Netflix. So if this report is legit, things would be difficult for Snyder to get the return to the worlds of DC Films. Who knows what the future holds! All we can do is sit and wait.
