Netflix has officially announced the release schedule for the final season of The Sandman. Season 2 will be split into two volumes:
Volume 1: Premieres on July 3, 2025, with 6 episodes
Volume 2: Releases on July 24, 2025, with 5 episodes
The first teaser is now out, offering a glimpse at the final chapter of the acclaimed Neil Gaiman adaptation.
Though originally expected to continue beyond two seasons, The Sandman will conclude with Season 2. Speculation points to ongoing controversies involving creator Neil Gaiman, including unresolved rape allegations, as a possible reason for Netflix’s decision. The case remains open at this time.
