“I did a drawing where I took Ben’s face, and I put the cowl on it. It might sound dumb, but I literally took a Sharpie and drew the cowl on top of some photocopy of Ben’s face. In that moment, I guess I convinced myself that was the way.”
This unconventional method confirmed for Snyder that Affleck embodied his vision of Bruce Wayne perfectly.
