Colin Farrell Confirms His Appearance in The Batman Part 2

Speaking about his involvement, Colin Farrell said:

“I’ll be getting into the script, I think, this week, and I’ll be there for however long. I don’t have many scenes, I don’t believe, but I’ll be there for whatever. Matt Reeves is so brilliant. I don’t know what the story is yet. I just know that obviously Matt has slaved for a few years now to really make something special. And he holds a very high bar for himself. He’s so meticulous; he cares so deeply about what he does.”

Farrell’s comments indicate that while The Penguin will return, fans should not expect him to have a major presence in the film. Nevertheless, his character remains important to the overarching story, and his scenes could be pivotal in shaping the narrative.

What to Expect from The Batman Part 2 Cast and Story

Production on The Batman Part 2 will begin on January 1, 2026, at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in London. Robert Pattinson will return as Batman, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon. Additionally, Barry Keoghan is “expected” to reprise his role as the Joker, though the studio has not officially confirmed it yet.

While details about the plot remain tightly under wraps, the combination of Matt Reeves’ meticulous direction and the returning cast suggests a high-quality cinematic experience. Fans can anticipate complex storylines, thrilling action sequences, and deeper exploration of Gotham’s underworld.
