According to Sneider’s sources,“Jackson delivered a period-themed take” on the property, but the approach reportedly did not match HBO’s vision for the series.

While the decision creates uncertainty around the project, HBO and DC Studios have not canceled the V for Vendetta Series. Instead, the adaptation could receive another creative overhaul before moving ahead.

HBO’s V for Vendetta Series Could Find a New Direction
