His response makes it clear that Batman is probably no longer the role being discussed. Although he didn’t completely rule it out, Ritchson suggested that DC Studios has other plans for him.

At present, Andy Muschietti remains attached to direct the film. However, DC Studios has not announced its Batman or Damian Wayne casting.
