DC has unveiled the first look at their new comic book line, the Absolute Universe, featuring new takes on iconic heroes Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. The Absolute Universe is said to be a darker and grittier take on the DC Universe, with the heroes facing more challenges and stakes than ever before.
The new designs for the characters have been revealed, with Batman sporting a more tactical and armored look, Superman with a sleeker and more modern costume, and Wonder Woman with a more grounded and warrior-like appearance. The creative teams for the Absolute Universe titles have also been announced, with Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV attached to write the Batman and Superman titles, respectively.
