The cast could also include another unusual DC character. Stranger Things actor Eduardo Franco is reportedly on set and is believed to be playing Matter-Eater Lad. Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault are behind The People v. Gorilla Grodd. The duo previously created American Vandal, another series built around the mockumentary and true-crime formats. They serve as writers, showrunners, and executive producers on the new DC project.
