Warner Bros. has released new bonus features alongside the film’s Digital release. The footage includes never-before-seen set moments featuring Milly Alcock and David Corenswet as they prepare for their roles in the DC Universe.

The new behind-the-scenes photos highlight the chemistry between Alcock and Corenswet while they were filming Supergirl. The actors can be seen staying in costume between takes while enjoying relaxed moments away from the camera.
In one image, the pair smiles directly at the camera. Another photo captures them laughing together during production. Meanwhile, Corenswet appears to be joking around, making funny expressions and playfully pointing toward Alcock.
These moments give fans a glimpse of the friendly atmosphere behind the scenes. Although the film features major superhero action, the cast also shared plenty of fun moments during filming.
Supergirl Bonus Features Reveal Cast Reactions to Joining the DCU
Along with the new images, Warner Bros. also released a behind-the-scenes video featuring Milly Alcock discussing her experience joining the DC Universe.
During the featurette, Alcock shared her surprise and excitement about becoming part of the franchise.
“It’s kind of crazy. I didn’t think I would be here, and I am.”
The actress also spoke about the emotions that came with taking on the iconic role. She admitted that while she was excited about the opportunity, she also felt nervous about stepping into such an important DC role.
“I’m excited, obviously, but, like, also scared.”
Her comments show the pressure and excitement surrounding her debut as Kara Zor-El, especially as the DCU begins building a new era of superhero stories.
David Corenswet Shares a Superhero Moment With Milly Alcock
The behind-the-scenes footage also features a playful exchange between Alcock and Corenswet while filming their superhero scenes.
During the video, Alcock asks Corenswet:
“Do the breath.”
Corenswet responds:
“Breath? Yeah, we do the breath.”
The moment gives fans a fun look at the small details involved in bringing DC heroes to life. It also highlights the comfortable working relationship between the actors as they portray two of the most recognizable Kryptonian characters.
Supergirl arrived in theaters on June 26, 2026, before making its Digital debut on July 28, 2026. The release includes additional bonus content, allowing fans to explore more of the movie’s production.
The film has earned more than $124 million worldwide. It currently holds a 53% critics’ score and a 73% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
