One of those rumored designs could be a white space or armor suit. More surprisingly, the suit may reportedly have the ability to store solar energy. However, DC Studios has not confirmed that Superman will wear multiple suits in Man of Tomorrow.
Superman Suits in Man of Tomorrow Could Include a White Design
According to a recent update from DC Film News on X, Superman could reportedly wear around three different suits throughout Man of Tomorrow.
The post claims:
“Since its out… I’m hearing Superman wears roughly 3 suits in MAN OF TOMORROW. One of them is white, possibly the space/armor suit, and apparently it stores solar energy.”
The report does not provide details about the other two rumored designs. Meanwhile, the description of the white suit raises some interesting possibilities for Superman’s next adventure.
The White Suit Could Store Solar Energy
The rumored white suit may be designed for Superman’s adventures beyond Earth. Unlike Earth, outer space does not provide Superman with constant access to Earth’s yellow sun. That could create a challenge if he spends an extended period away from the planet.
A suit capable of storing solar energy could potentially help solve that problem. Instead of relying entirely on sunlight available during his mission, Superman could theoretically carry stored energy with him. That could become especially useful during a major battle.
Could Superman’s Suit Help Against Brainiac?
The Superman Suits in Man of Tomorrow rumor becomes even more interesting because Superman is expected to face Brainiac. The DCU sequel is expected to take the Man of Steel beyond Earth. Brainiac’s presence could also push Superman into situations where he needs to operate without his usual access to solar energy.

Man of Tomorrow is expected to expand Superman’s world beyond the events of the first movie. David Corenswet will return as Superman, while Nicholas Hoult will reprise his role as Lex Luthor. Brainiac is also expected to play a major role in the sequel, with Lars Eidinger attached to the role.
Interestingly, Superman may not face the villain alone. Lex Luthor, traditionally one of Superman’s greatest enemies, is expected to work alongside the Man of Steel to some degree against the larger threat posed by Brainiac. That unusual alliance could create another major dynamic for the sequel.
Man of Tomorrow Cast Brings Back Several DCU Heroes
The Superman Suits in Man of Tomorrow are not the only major aspect of the sequel that could expand the DCU. Milly Alcock is returning as Supergirl, while Aaron Pierre will reprise his role as Green Lantern John Stewart.
Nathan Fillion is also expected to return as Guy Gardner. Skyler Gisondo will reprise his role as Jimmy Olsen, continuing his role as one of Superman’s closest allies. Lars Eidinger, meanwhile, is set to portray Brainiac. With Superman, Supergirl, two Green Lantern characters, Lex Luthor, and Brainiac involved, the sequel could be considerably larger in scale than its predecessor.
Superman Suits in Man of Tomorrow Remain Unconfirmed
The idea of Superman Suits in Man of Tomorrow featuring three different designs could add another intriguing element to the DCU sequel. The rumored white space or armor suit is particularly interesting because of its reported ability to store solar energy.
