With only two episodes remaining in Season 1, John’s future is becoming increasingly clear. He could either reignite his determination to become a Green Lantern or prove that he has finally found his own reason to accept the responsibility.
The series already has plenty of source material to explore if John eventually receives his own Power Ring. The confirmed second season could also provide more room for that storyline. Season 2 is unlikely to remain focused on John’s ambitions as an architect if the show continues building toward his superhero identity.
