If HBO gives the series another season, Mundy is expected to serve as the sole showrunner. Damon Lindelof and Tom King are not expected to return for the potential second season because of scheduling conflicts.

Lindelof previously confirmed that Mundy had already begun assembling a writers’ room to explore new Lanterns stories.
